Don’t Worry, No One Cares

I recently discovered this great post from Lamepelina https://lampelina.wordpress.com/2020/02/08/dont-worry-no-one-cares/#comment-8368

I’m a master overthinker. I take everything way too seriously. Life, job, myself, others… Really, truly everything. Sounds familiar?

A nice video to tell your brains that nobody actually cares as much as you might think.

Now go out and play, dance, do beautiful things that make you feel happy and don’t worry as much about what others might think 🙂
I know it’s not actually that simple… But you can still give it a try.

What about you, dear reader? Do you enjoy your life or do you hold yourself back because you’re thinking too much about what others might think?

ShortStory: Hey Stranger…

Short Story : Hey Stranger (Part 1) by Salina Kishinchand

Sal’s Innovative Thoughts & Creations!

While crossing the road holding an umbrella in one hand and my handbag on the other shoulder, I bumped into a thoroughly drenched stranger.
I looked closer at him, and I couldn’t believe how good looking he really was.

It looked like he had just left the office and was running late for a meeting.I looked at him once again, smiled, and decided to create some small talk with him.

“Hey stranger, it’s raining!”
I laughed the minute I made that statement.

He looked at me, and around at the pouring rain and laughed loudly.
“Oh, really? Whatever gave you that idea?”

I looked at him and laughed even louder.

“Yeah, I’m fully wet, and you caught that, huh?”
I smiled at him.
“Yes, it’s a little tough not to notice!”
“Would you like to share an umbrella with me?”

He gave me the brightest smile while considering what…

Chaos in English Pronunciation and Spelling

This is quite useful in a funny manner!

Learn Fun Facts

confusing

Dutch writer, poet, traveler, and teacher Gerard Nolst Trenité (1870 – 1946) wrote a remarkable poem aptly titled “The Chaos”. The poem demonstrates several of the most famous (and infamous) irregularities in English spelling and pronunciation.  Trenité managed to collect about 800 of those irregularities and versified them into this chaotic, albeit amusing poem.

“The Chaos” was originally published in the appendix (Aanhangsel) section of Drop Your Foreign Accent: Engelsche Uitspraakoefeningen (4th Edition), a textbook written by Trenité in 1920. This version was shorter and only contained 146 lines. Since then, many variations have appeared. A longer and authoritative version was published in the 1993-94 edition of Journal of the Simplified Spelling Society. This version contains 274 lines:

Dearest creature in Creation,
Studying English pronunciation,
I will teach you in my verse
Sounds like corpse, corps, horse, and worse.
I will keep you, Susy, busy,
Make your head…

What is Heaven

In All Our Years ™

I thought for a while tyring to conjure and sort, and compile my feelings and thoughts, and to dispell societal myths, that permeate in our culture and the many religions that declare their facts and truths.

What is Heaven? I am human and do not know for sure … only what I feel.

Heaven is open and wide … beyond … beyond and you are floating, free of all things.

There is no need for air nor breath and you have a knowing of complete comfort, calmness and contentment. There is no body. There is no mind. There is no past or future, but only the open moment, an ocean of infinity.

You have an awareness that you are, but it does not connect like it would, had you a body and mind and heart. You are unable to connect sensations to thought. There is a knowing which is from…
