My Day

She being herself, just a mystery to everyone else
Just got home to her favorite spot on her balcony
The view was nothing short of amazing, the usual thing
Her home, a tiny flat, in the middle of the concrete jungle

Nothing much to look out for except for the skies dusking
Busy roads with vehicles honking, people getting home
Only one place can she find some solitude after a day at work
She looks up into the skies of crimson, hues of red and gold

She watches the white fluffy clouds turn grey slow and easy
The setting sun throws a magnificent show up in the skies
She sips her wine which is disguised in her Coffee mug
“All is well as long as I can enjoy this view” she thinks to herself

Just as her heart is overwhelmed with the beauty of the skies
A sudden phenomena takes place in the heavenlies
She see a streak of green amidst the blue, red and gold – so unusual
“What a treat! Thank you” her lips move as she utters some words
“This my friend, is a fabulous way to end my day!”
