Just You

I close my eyes and imagine you there

Your eyes deep set starring into mine

We search each other eye to eye

It’s the longest gaze we’ve ever had

I can’t take it no more, I must touch you

I slowly courageously lift mine hand

Mine hand it reaches out to your face

I only want to hold your sweet face

You smile at me yet without a blink

Your eyes still searching deep into mine

You hold mine hand lay it on your cheek

Your hand on top of mine

The sense of your hand on mine

Just sends light shivers of something

Like icy cold waters on a warm body

I feel it running deep within my soul

I press mine hand upon your cheek

You slowly set your eyes to a close

I open mine eyes to glance at you

Tis then I see it was just a dream!

How I longed that this dream go on

Lasted long so mine lips would meet yours

The tender kissing as sweet as honey

Mine hands in your hair and yours in mine

Our bodies entwined locked in perfection

Yet! None of this ever happened with mine eyes wide open

I wish I had left my eyes asleep forever!
